Michael Zuk graduated from the University of Alberta in 1986 with classmate Dr. Mah and was recently presented with a 25 year certificate from the Alberta Dental Association. Since graduation Dr. Zuk has taken additional courses in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Zuk is a general dentist with a practice focused on combining cosmetic and orthodontic treatment. While the dental profession limits what can be shared with the public, Dr. Zuk has studied with many specialists and adapts the treatment into a form that some may consider 'budget friendly'. Advanced destruction of a person's teeth can often be restored with cost effective alternatives.
As a published author Dr. Zuk is an outspoken critic on aggressive cosmetic makeovers and helps promote treatment that may be more conservative and affordable than what has been recommended in the past. His recent achievements include:
Dr. Zuk is married with two children and a couple dogs. His hobbies have included martial arts, flying lessons, writing books, marketing competitions, inventing and helping other dentists market their services.

As a general dentist Dr. Der is able to perform a wide range of dental services. Many of the dentists refer their patients to him for root canal therapy and surgical extractions that would often require a specialist.
The Sleepy Smile program is Dr. Der's sedation system which offers nervous patients a way to relax while having their dental treatment completed. Dr. Der is also known for his cosmetic dentistry and has many loyal patients from his decades in practice.
Few dentists can be as 'lovable' as Dr. Terry. Dr. Mah has worked at Bower Dental longer than any of the other dentists and he is known for his compassion and willingness to help people. Dr. Mah has recently been voted as the #1 favorite dentist in Red Deer by an online forum.
As a general dentist, Dr. Mah has developed two additional areas of focus. Orthodontics and snoring therapy a large part of his practice and after 25 years he has helped hundreds of people have nicer smiles.

Our only female dentist is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. While she only has a few years of experience, her dedication to continuing education and quality care are obvious and we are thrilled to have her as our newest addition.
As a general dentist, Dr. Bhullar offers a wide range of treatment and is married to another dentist (Dr. Justin Bhullar) who occasionally works at BDC on select days.
